Will you support an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Voice to Parliament?

In 2017, after extensive dialogues, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Australians came together to draft the Uluru Statement from the Heart. It was the largest consensus of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Australians on a proposal for recognition in Australian history.

The Uluru Statement called for an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Voice to Parliament to be enshrined in the Constitution. The Albanese Government is answering that call.

The Voice will be a representative advisory body consisting of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Australians. It will provide advice to Parliament and Government about laws and policies Impacting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Australians.
