Recently, locals in Olive Street highlighted the need for a footpath on their street. Working with Clr Purcell, we found out that a footpath was proposed, due to be delivered in the 2024/25 financial year, and has now been delayed until the 2027/28 financial year.

We both believe that this delay is unnecessary and not acceptable.

In the coming months, Clr Purcell will submit a motion to the council to bring the project back to the 2024/2025 timeline, using funds from an appropriate Council source.
