The Bennelong Award for the Arts recognizes outstanding student achievement across various creative disciplines. Presented annually at graduation and presentation ceremonies across local Bennelong schools, and community organisations – this award celebrates students who demonstrate excellence, talent, and passion within the arts.

Award Guidelines & Eligible Areas

The award is presented to a student who has excelled in one or more of the following areas:

• Painting
• Visual Arts
• Sculpture
• Literature
• Language
• Music
• Theatre

Who can nominate?

You can nominate a student to receive the Bennelong Award for the Arts if you are a School or Community Group who wishes to recognise a student for achievement across the arts.

Important Information

• Availability: A limited number of awards are available and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Awards are generally presented at end of year presentations for schools or community groups.
• Presentation: Awards must be presented by the Member for Bennelong or a designated representative.
