I launched the Better Buses for Bennelong survey because I know how important reliable, efficient, and accessible public transport is for our community, and I wanted to hear directly from you about the challenges you face and the changes you want to see.

The response has been overwhelming, with hundreds of you sharing your stories, frustrations, and ideas. From long wait times and overcrowded buses to the lack of direct routes connecting our suburbs, it’s clear that we need to do better.

The data from the survey has shaped a comprehensive report that lays out key findings and practical recommendations to improve bus services in Bennelong. Whether it’s increasing the frequency of services in Lane Cove, introducing new routes to better connect Greenwich, improving access in the Gladesville and Ryde areas, or ensuring students have reliable access to educational hubs, the report outlines what needs to change to make public transport work for everyone.

On the 2nd of April 2025, I presented this report to the Minister for Transport NSW, advocating for the changes that you, the community, have identified as priorities. This is just the beginning—I’ll continue to work closely with the state government and transport authorities to ensure that your voices are heard and that real improvements are made to our local bus services.

Your feedback doesn’t end here. I’m committed to keeping you updated on our progress and advocating for better public transport for Bennelong. If you’d like to read the full report and see the recommendations in detail, fill out the form below to receive your copy via email. Your voice matters, and together, we can build a better Bennelong.
